I have created a number of websites over the years.
The first successful site I set up was www.french4tots.co.uk which was just a collection of French nursery rymes (called comptines in French) I was startled to receive about 50+ hits a day on the site within a month of creating it, and now it still gets over 100 unique visitors a day, which for a totally amateur site seems pretty good. Advertising on the site does not cover the cost of hosting but it makes more than all the rest.
The next site is www.thehoneycombs.info which is about sixties band The Honeycombs There is a wealth of information that should satisfy even the most dedicated fan. With biographies of Honey Lantree, Denis D'Ell Martin Murray Alan Ward John Lantree Peter Pye Rod Butler and Alan Hare. Little known reincarnations of the band are covered in detail and there is a full song list including lyrics of all the songs.
I do also have a website about my grandfather Frank Kingdon-Ward I am busy updating that and parts of the new version are online at www.french4tots.co.uk/kingdon-ward/index.php
Hello, I have managed to "translate" just about all of Kingdon Ward's itineraries from the originals that he gives. Do you still need any help with them. Also, I have the letters and journals of Malcolm Anderson, leader of the Bedford Expedition.
